The Blue Knights is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men and women who enjoy riding motorcycles. Among the Blue Knight members, "There are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet."

We are a very active chapter and try to schedule as many rides and events as possible. If you are in the law enforcement field and meet the qualifications to become a Blue Knight, please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to give you information. If you are just looking for good people to take motorcycle rides with, hey feel free to come join us for some fun rides. But be aware, we like to stop and eat a lot!

A word from the President

Hey Everyone,

Hope this letter finds all in good health and spirits. Speaking of health, we currently have four members : Vice President James Bailey, Larry Jackson, Randy Barton, and Alexander Plue who are sick or shut-in. Along with your prayers, I’m sure a phone call, e-mail, or get well card would mean a lot to your brothers. It is Easter now so I know we will be having some good weather soon. Watch the forecasts and if you see an opening and want to ride, let’s get going, I’ll do the same. Again I would like to tell each of you  how proud  I am  to be associated with you and call you my brothers as ya’ll continue to be unselfish and dedicated to the Blue Knights-ALX.

God Bless,

Jackie "JW" Williams

URGENT NEED!!  JORDAN STOVER MEDICAL RELIEF FUND.

Richard and Jordan Stover - Link to the Fundraisers PageJordan Stover, 12-year-old daughter of Alabama  Correctional Officer Richard Stover desperately needs the help of the Blue Knights.  Please see our Fund-Raisers page for the full story and to donate.  The donation account was graciously donated by Redstone Federal Credit Union, Huntsville, AL.

Of course, it's not possible to place on this website all the generous donations that you are all giving to Miss Stover, but our current total is $2200.00 donated from Knights and others all over the country.  Here are a few of the generous donations we have received:

  • The Hawaii I chapter of the Blue Knights, through the generous donation of Kalani Kamana'o currently stationed in Naples, Italy, has donated $100.00 to the Jordan Stover Fund.  They challenge all other chapters to match or exceed their donation.  Their website can be found at http://home.earthlink.net/~blueknightshi1/.   Let's all take up Hawaii I's challenge! Can you beat it?
  • Florida X (there website: http://www.blueknightsflx.com/) has unanimously decided to donate $250.00.
  • Ohio XII (their website: http://www.bkohxii.com/) has graciously donated $50.00.
  • J.E.T.S. donates $50.00.  We just received a donation from outside the Blue Knights!  Justice Electronics Training Services, Inc., a company chartered to train people in the electronics fields, has graciously donated $50.00.  Check out their website here.  Thanks to J.E.T.S.!
  • Kentucky II:  (their website: http://www.blueknightsky2.org/) We just received an email from KY II.  They are donating $200.00 to the Jordan Stover fund.
  • New York XX:  (their website: http://www.bknyxx.org/)  We just received $100.00 from our brothers in NY XX.  Thank you!
  • YOUR DONATION HERE!!!  Unfortunately, the bank that is sponsoring this effort does not notify us when a donation is received or keep track of exactly who donates to the fund, so please email the webmaster and let us know how much your chapter has given.  Help inspire other chapters to help Miss Stover and the Stover family.
UPDATE:  Ms. Stover has a blog.  Now you can keep track of her progress and see what wonderful things everyone is saying to and about the Stovers.  Check out http://stemcellschina.com/blog/jordans/2008/03/18/hello-world/.
Good Samaritan Incident
The Blue Knights of Alabama Chapter X would like to thank Don Landers of Brother's Body Shop for his recent generosity.  A member of ALX was on the side of the road with a broken fuel pump and he stopped to help out.  He loaned his trailer to allow our brother knight to get his bike home and fixed.  Please check out their website at http://www.brothersbodyshop.com.  This is the kind of person that we should give our business to!

3rd ANNUAL NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD'EM CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT to benefit the Jordan Stover Medical Relief Fund.

See our Fundraisers page.

HUNGRY?  Come join Chapter X for it's 2nd Hamburger & Hot Dog Griller.

Last time we were able to raise $1000 to help our our brother Blue Knight, Lary Jackson of Alabama Chapter X who is gravely ill.  See our Fund-Raisers Page for details.

Brother Jackson has a website where you can check up on his progress.  Check it out here.

A word from the Secretary

Hey brother Knights!

Our web page has taken off better than I ever expected!  There is so much information to pass on.  The Jordan Stover fund has taken off and they have a blog site you can visit and can post messages to the Stovers.

We have several rides planned and the list is growing all the time.  Be sure to contact me if you are going on a ride so I can get it up on the Rides Page.

The Members Area has also grown.  I have added a map link to each of our notations so that when we need to meet at any of our houses, etc., we can all find where that is.  If you find any of the information on this page to be wrong, please let me know so I can update it.  If you don't have a password, be sure to contact me about that too so I can set you up with one.

As always, this is your website, so let me know if there is anything you think I should be posting.

God bless and ride safe,

Steve AuBuchon

THE NEXT MEETING of Alabama Chapter X will be on April 10th at 6:00 p.m. at the Shoney's in Athens, AL.  All Brother Blue Knights are welcome!
