Children are held very special in the hearts of all Blue Knights. Our charity events each year are structured around helping children. Our chapter of the Blue Knights has chosen St. Jude Children's Hospital In Memphis Tennessee to be our anchor charity. We are very proud to be a North Alabama Cruisin' For St. Jude Charity Coordinator. Our first poker run last October 2006 raised $650.00 for St. Jude. We hope next year that we will gain more support for this cause and be able to help out more. 	Jordan Stover Medical Relief Fund $2200.00 Collected So Far!	Jordan Stover is the daughter of Alabama Correctional Officer Richard Stover and has a rare neurological condition that requires her to travel to China for medical care. The cost of the procedures is going to be more than $26,000.00!. We all know how little law enforcement officers are paid. The Stover family needs the help of every Blue Knight. Alabama Chapter X is coordinating the effort to raise funds to help out the Stover family in their efforts to procure the medical care their daughter needs. Please see her full story here. If we each give just $1, their medical, travel, and therapy costs would be greatly reduced. Larger donations, would of course, be greatly appreciated. 	3^rd Annual No Limit Texas Hold'em charity Poker Tournament	3^rd ANNUAL CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT This year we raised $260.00 for the Jordan Stover Medical Relief Fund. Thanks to all those who participated! Check back again next year for the 4^th annual tournament.
	Blue Kinghts Hamburger & Hot Dog Roast	One of our own, a brother knight from Blue Knights AL Chapter X is gravely Ill. We are planning to hold a hamburger and hot dog roast to raise money to help pay for his medical expenses. He has to travel to Vandetbuilt University 3 times per week for treatments and his expenses are piling up. Location: the Dollar General Market in Ardmore, TN Date: April 19, 2008 Time: 11:00 until...
